plants as 1931/1933 White plant shaggy grey with long
flexuous hairs which are dark at base. Hairs on leaf
benticulate; others seem smooth. Roeglands, upper
part & sparingly starry. Longlanus. St. br. dilapid
V almost clasping at base.
B. But Rocksde Naye. Seems exactly like A or
except that leaves on both sides are so sparse that
plant looks nearly glabrous (esp. on upper side) of
los. Involucere almost as shaggy as A. Probably
asp. Calvifolium N.P. SVKI 739
Note that in both A & B invol-bracts look narrow because
of their acuminate tips. No at all imagination
makes the broader lower portion 'club-bract' (SVI)
