But note that the most basal lvs are 5-merous
closer inspection discovered that on many
specimens the very lowest (often withering) are
3-merous. Seems no other poss in SVK I. Flt

7-5-34 ? Saxifraga exarata Vill Cote II 142, Bon 116,
SVK I 334 Fl young fr. Rochers de Naye Perhaps in region
of S. androsacea. L was ill Cote vs desc Cote and SVK
with (all) 3-5 lobes. Nerves (central) visible against
light in fresh lvs and very evident with furrows
between midrib lobes. Distinctly diff from S. mus-
cordes Wolf in this respect. St. has at least lower
one(s) 3 lobed. Basal lvs 6-9mm long (in S. mus less
than 5mm long). St. stiffly erect 6-9cm overall.
