2 spec. fruct. Not seen since 6-30-81.
7-5-34 Polygonatum officinale All. Cote III 352, SVKI
148 = P. vulgare Desf Box 301, = T. anceps Moench.
BHN 47# Ft. Rochers de Naye Rocky descent just below
Sautados -> Caux. Plant looks bigger than P. multiflorum
perhaps due to thicker, smoother, more glaucous
leaves (seen only once before, above Box)
7-5-34 Thalictrum minus L. Cote I 38, Box 4, BHN
4, SVKI 270 (See BHN II # 1-8) Ft. Rochers de Naye on brink
slightly over east of hotel. Hgt 20-25cm. + zig-zag, valves
in lower third. Then because upper petioles are obtuse
than the lower the too seem + strongly (leafless)
aggregated about middle inst. All but inflorescent
branches finally subtended by half-size of leaves coming
toward top) Lfts 7mm or less, firm, gray-green, with
raised veins on lower surface. Veins translucent when
held against light. St-ridged. Plants almost fabrous.
BHN II model helps to separate var. Parotaxis esp variable
[J ST]
