Transcription
Plant 6 in high, crotches branching spreading from base. Calyx spreading in 4 vts. The short pedicels thicken at upper end at fr-time. Dark red-purple petals no longer than sepals. Stem- The smooth, hairy coating of st., the gland-hairs on upper part of plant, the nettle-leeds make ident. sure. But sepals only only apiculate not "long be- gnant" (S01). Internodes swollen at the base, making a bundle effect when (as in some branches) the upper internodes are short. Plant has a meaner, blaffier look than P. remembers it in Mallorca.
