reaches above base J infl and 3rd lf reaches to base J infl. 3rd lf is 10 mm wid at base, 15 mm 2/3 of distance to tip then narrowing to acute tips. 2nd lf has sides more nearly parallel or is more shortly acute. Bracts all decidedly purple velv. longtution fflo (no sign whatever that they hide the fls). Spur 10mm, never quite as long as ordinary. L lip seems only 5-6 mm long while fl (rest of body) measures 11-12 mm from tips of sepals to tips of lips. (This seems too small for O. santolina). Spfl of 12-15 fls is 6 cm high & certainly "Ovalesq serie".
