Calyx teeth minute (not as ill. Cate) F2. exactly as ill (Cate and 4) (not as ill BWH). Involucre. often but not always above one joint bracts primarly but like a ring if but the rest entire lanceolate or broader. Bracts involucrels entire, often ote-lanceolate and 3-nerved. F2. 15mm high. (Cate: BWH, SVKI all suggest bracts less entire than in this spec.) Petals tinged greenish in bud but the def. inflexed tip and the numerous bracts I involucre prove this not a Helosciadium. [7-25-34. PL Camalbridge Angle > Monney upper low very like ill (Cate)] 9-17-34 ??? Pseudodorum (Creoselinum March Cate II 177; Bon 127; SVKI 500. Flw young fr. PL Novilla -> Vourry. (Exhaustive search in all books from all points of view Meronobette guess but R. prey doubt fed). Rootstock thick woody, gnarled, the upper part ill defined (as R. suspects root-stock branched), solid (or at least not can- breel as in ill) Cicuta. Cate #1616), whitish inside outside, odorless. Upper and bears a few alreds? all bracts lobes and several stems. 1oz mostly at near base. 1 oz glabrous, dark green. Ill Cote #/516 is adequate but effect officinale's more distinct in design than the ill. Petiole vasculis rather slender & stiff, grooved on the inside and (3 days after collected) shows distinct tend- ancy to be 'flexueux-divarques et comme trisees' Lots of lf-segs tipped with oldish mucron, and edges sometimes (20x) show minute denticulate rough- ess (query whether enough to satisfy SVKI ?) lf. segs definitely on the 3rd order, cuneate at base, not like any of the others. Umb. brown by R.B.T. Stems glabrous. 5-10 in high.
