specimens collected. Plants range from 15-35 cm
with 25 cm as usual height. Infl about 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 cm
Lips 7.5 x 7.5 mm, 3 mm at base
the edges not curving outwards as
in O. maculata. These straightish lines inside
and the straight lines in flesh dots are arranged
to give the lips an elongated effect quite different from O.
maculata and O. latifolia (5-25-34). In
all cases reach to infl but often above, RkX is
hollow. In Infl (esp lower ones a little broader above)
as in all cases unsatisfactory in these
spec. pressed) Fls pinkish purple (sometimes
tones of a sort I marked not pale but never what
R would call flesh coloured. Beside O. maculatus
& spica both pinkish shiny, this lot of specimens
vary in colour somewhat.) Agrees with ill in Correys
Alb. de Uchdeis (3rd Ed 1923) Pl XLIX except that fls are
more violet (this is pink).]
#872 ?Urelis maculata.
Fl. Marsh. Villeneuve or southward. Lvs suggest O.
mac. in shape, spreading leaf but the upper
most reach above base of infl. Fl shaped and
marked like O. mac but much deeper purplish
in colour (almost identical in colour to O. latifolia)
Lvs with a very few obscure dots & spots. 5-25-34
