In frs. invl 15-20mm high and 2.10mm diam at base, the pappus reaching to tip of infl. bracts. Achene very flat & 7-8mm high with soft white pappus & same length as achene. These char noted because of query about the blue composites at Grand Hotel, Les Avants (2een 8-19-34 later) which as remembered is not this. 9-8-34 Peucedanum austriacum Koch Cote II/177; Bon.127; SKI500 FLyfs. Dautody->Eonelceux bet the big cas.v Craux-a-la-Cierge.Same place as 8/14-33. Typsfrs 8x5mm, the wings(almost a quite 1/2 mm)trans- parent. Bracts of invol are finely membranaceous and very short ciliate on edges. Segments of lvs are very sharp tipped and are smooth on the edges. Pedicels(of lower inv)ridged like the st.(but R.B.K. cannot see that they are triangular or especially"canalicule" in dices.) Note that some of the lvs on some of the
