8-6-34 Achillea macrophylla L. Cat. III 353; Bor 169, SVII 682; Fl. Path around north side of Double Jaman -> ColdeJaman. St. young shoots arise from a thick rize horizontal rootstock (may well be creeping) st. lfy from base. The lower ls rather distant, with petioles about half as long as blade, not auricled. middle ls with olater petioles which have a few clasping, narrow segments at base; upper ls sessile with clasping seg. at base as well (Bor). Upper ls closer together than lower ls. Heads w 6 achicles only 2 are developed? (See 8-16-3) Note that ls on young shoots are recognizably similar to those ls on st. 8-6-34 Allium Schoenoprasum L. Cat. III 338; Bor 299, SVII 472; BM CP 161; SVI I 146 Fl. Jaman. Sts arise from station and up towards tunnel end. St 2-3 cm high, the one ff. sheathing on the lower third with its blade extending to top of infl. lf & st. herete, hollow. lf about 2 mm diam. Plants 10-12 mm long, divisions acute, fully twice as long as the simple stamina; a bright, deep rose color (R.B.K remember the cult: clebs and dullels). Several plants seen in H. Only one collected. Several plants collected which had consisted & 1 lf only. Bulbs several closely packed too together, standing obliquely in the ground?
