Very like ill (BVH LIII) Fl color very small at ends of longating anfl. F-L 4-5mm high, petals sepals persisting until pod is twice as long. Oldst pod (now) 27mm or pedicel? 3mm. 6-6-33? Sinapis alba L. Coste I 74, Bon 201, BVH 37, SVKI 297 = Brassica alba Boiss BVH 39, 4428 = B. alba Rabeck BM(CP) 306. Fl withaborz. St's ln glabrous (thickish & smooth to touch suggesting Brassicas) (not hairy as desc.) Ident chiefly by eliminating other pos., by fact that ln agree fairly well ill (Coste) and by the fact that young pod (in fl) are briefly at base with upturned hairs (20X) Pedicels slender, 5-7mm high; calyx 4mm high, the lips of sepals with 1 or more short stiff hairs; petals 7mm high. (Note these dimensions agree with SVKI better than with BM(CP).) 6-6-33? Arabis alpina L. Fl Cult. on wall Caux. Plant has all the general look of A. alpina except that flower double last petals. and, instead of stamenov pistil, there two ovaries from center of fl. a pedicel 5-10mm bearing
