Villeneuve marks 120 ovato-culme. A bower of 13 mm wide at base, upper total height inflated 6 x 7 mm wide & ♀ part infl 10 cm, ♂ part infl (perhaps not complete) 8 cm, the internal set being about 3 mm. ♀ infl (now) 19 mm diam. Stigmas project 1mm beyond leavis (Note not as much longer as ill Costa). Infl body well preserved but as far as can be judged anthers (now empty & dry) are 2 mm slightly more, never more than 2.5 mm. Spike ♀ now is black brown (not at all grey-gray). SUT's "Auszweigung" not at all understood. Stigma plainly enlarged (not linear) but relatively as desc. For T latiplan. T Shuttleworth it is difficult to say but no sign of seti as desc for T. angustifolia [ill Costa] and as observed 7-26-32. 8-2-33 Foeniculum vulgare Hill A 616, BUH OP 564 = F.—mill BOH, SUKI 494 = F. officinale All. Cost II 195 = Anethum Foeniculum L. Box 126 FL Villeneuve dump. 8-10-33 Athusa Cynapium L. Cost II 196, Box 130, BUH 197 & 618, SUKI 494 Flyge Allen at Boodle near LaVmae.
