Alion but twice this dark purple and stamens project almost 1 cm beyond petals perhaps this is a sp. atrata Koch SVII II 11 = A. atrata Koch Cote I 54 Petals 25 mm tips ½ tip and drawn. Ovarilla 25 mm. Dark purple is the usual color near Alion. 5-31-33 Iris Pseudacorus L. Cote III 368, Bon 304, BVH 766 A 302, BMGP 193, SVI 153 Fl. On Alion - Les Lavants Rd. just beyond Café des Narcisses 6-3-33 Sisymbrium austriacum Jacq Cote I 94 Bon 24 = S. pyrenaicum Vill ssp. austriacum Schinz ex Thellung SVI 291 Fl & young fr. in snow. lying on road east of Val-Mont (on rd to pig barn just beyond fork to the Ferme). Plant 4 ft to tips, upper mf't. Much branched from below middle. Whole plant glabrous; stem glaucous s/lv grayish green. Base of lower st. less petioled. About 4½ in overall by 1½-2 in wide. Pinnatifid much lobed (Cote) with shortest, narrowest lobe at base but not def. reniculate. Upper lvs progressively
