7-4-33 rooting at base making a mottled effect as remembered for V. serpyllifolia. above the rooting portions sto are thick and softly pubescent - v at top sparingly glandulose. Rooting parts get to thickly lved, or upper parts less dense than inter- nodes largest of 16x10 mm but usually much smaller. Infl. Terminal (much like V. ser- ill G) but in one case lateral infls appearing. Style 3mm, fr hardly noted. The only reason for doubting that is V. serpyllifolia L is that the corolla (7 mm wide) is (at least in bud) a deep blue suggesting the color of V. Beechburg. Antlers thicks. Calyx pubescent, corolla with an occasional hair on outside. Clvary gland- pubescent [On opening & quite light enough to be V. serpyllifolia L. 7-26-34 But R always same phenomenon of its opening dark Hue in box but normally light blue in the light] 7-4-33 Potentilla salisburgensis Haeckel Costa II 26 =Palpestris Hall Bm 99 = P. A St+to 9 cm. largest ft 5x6 mm, with teeth a little rounder than in B. B. St+to18 cm. largest ft 20x4mm. Petioles basal lo. slayer pointed than in A but not lined as in P. versa & more sprawling umbrelfat plant than A.
