Spur fully as long as a trifle longer than ovary. 13" p.160 Fl purple not yellow as in 12.p/59 (1/2 of with O. provincialis Balbi from Italy? not evident what exactly is def bet "seelut & lapping" and "spalting" also lip seems almost equally scanty in both cases. Sts in infl bracts almost of same purple shade as flo. Middle lobe flp almost straight sided, notdud at tip with small toth (or teeth) in sinus. Side lobes of flp ± narrowly separated from middle lobe, shorter than middle lobe, irregularly denticulate and more or less bent downward (but remaining + concave on upper surface). Upper brs sheath flr (wrapped completely around their full length) more than half way to base of griff. Wall around cavity leading into spur white but blade & lips of practically same shade as rest? perianth with darker dots near its base [4-30-3K] Fl. And macaillor. Plant about 1/2 with large base [v dark]. Its lowest bract is 3cm v reaches to tip of fl, with 5 def mid nervs v perhaps 2 indistinct lateral nervs but thin v not at all leaf-like.
