Sand bank in Romaine Blk smely 1/2 mile from nearest house. Flo pink. 7-31-30 Parnassia parviflora DC. & 449, BV II 213 Fl y urnifer fr. Romaine Blk along path at foot of gypsum cliff. Sea few 1 3/4 - 4 3/4 in, the clasping leaves lobed in the middle. Petioles sometimes slender, some- times flattened or broadish. 7-31-30 No flo fr. When found in sand bank at foot of gypsum cliff Romaine Blk this to be same as seen 6-19-30 which suggested Saxifraga cernua Jacq. But this seems more likely a group of seedling carduus (from me bed) with a lower pair of smooth low & an upper bristly pair
