spec. seen; collected. It appears built at base
with old leaf very slightly below. Two clumping
at below middle v one spec. had a second
slightly smaller by nearer base.

I#4 Flowering in brook pool nearators. Erect, mostly
submerged 5'+ underwater. Leaves not beaked 4mm.
wide. Fr. not long-beaked enough to be multipedicellate.
stem, angustiplume v fluctuans, tapers sharply
(at S.) to obliquely oblong stigma. & heads all axillary:
1 (2 spec); 2, both sessile (1 spec); 3, the lower head peduncled
28/10mm (2 spec). But not S. longiflorum (Note differences
B and BVB). Just notes that differed from 9-5-29 where
heads were all sessile v plant - 1.5 den.
