Lvs look glabrous but are minutely & scarcely hairy making them rough to touch. Flo bright yellow, thin diam calyx not reflexed. Odorless bordered & somewhat like that of P repens but scale tapers more gradually from body more like all P septeptencialis than P repens (30 B) lvs curved than P. repens tho shorter than P septententialis (less than 1/2 length of calyx) (See 7-4-30 337 7-4-30 Pinquicula vulgaris ( See 6-18-30 ) F & Harrys Brook left bank bed F le P & White Cabins 338 7-4-38 Salix & lt bank Harry's Bk gravel beach below white Cabin almost to little brook. Stamens 2, scales dull lipped. Lvs shrub-sprawling in gravel. Young twigs & broader lvs with lobed voliness. Inv dark green v lining over, glaucous beneath; long acute rounded at base, almost entire. Stipules oval-circular, ear-shaped (point upval)
