St 40 cm high with 4-6 lvs the uppermost distant from stem less than X in below fl. St slightly gland- pub exp. br upslmnt b of s next lower fl. has sparkly hairy caps. below ciliate. Petals x sepals dark purplish brown (greenish at base only) lips 3 cm long, rich yellow with purple dotted lines inside whorly inside towards base. Lateral sepals joined almost quite to lip, much shorter than lips. Port stela horizontal (ris-sec. rid.) seems to bear several st.
