VI Pr 266 = 5/3 6-11-30 Salix ? 8 ft high. Few steps beyond IV at edge of black Birch alling about 10 ft east of 3 telephone pole. Almost like IV in scale varying, not like IV except obovate with acute tips & def England-tipped leaf to tips (these quite visible to eye). Perhaps same as IV since III seems to have too good. Almost like III VII except that most of scales are dark only to above middle. Has not as distinct- ly or completely forked as II, but more so than IV. Oblong to obovate. (This means bridge 1/2-mile east of Crabbs village not the 2 very small bridges further east.) 6-11-30 Picea canadensis BSP A65, BVBI61 ? flov old Core Rd bet Crabbs Station & Crabbs pointed out by Roy Penny.
