Only a few ripe fr. found (or several culmus collected)
Perigynia plump but close fitting over achene (not
inflated), almost 3 mm long (by about 2.5 mm wide)
of which about .5mm is beak which is marginal
rather than toothed. Achene pale lil flesh color,
broadly obovoid 2 mm long x 1.7 mm wide x 1 mm
