See Rhodora Oct. 1931. R.B.K., unguided, would have thought it P. Persicli, Richards G 395, 130 BII/105. Fl 8-10 mndiem. Petala yellow, 4 or 5, hardly longer than the very yellowish apex. Petals 5x3½ mm with cup-like scale at base, 1+ by 1 mm (hence looking disproportionately large). Achenes (in early fl) almost 1¾ mm of which more than ½ length is slender tips. 6-20-37 Galium labradoricum Wiegand G 750, B0 BIII 264 Fl. (Found in moss about Saracenia purpurea, brought by Elsie Cozhe from about 4 miles up the Barado) reflexed 4 in high, lvs in 4s, linear, obseuse, 7 x ±1½ mm, oak rowson margin & mid-rib.
