Pr 231 6-5-30 Claytonia caroliniana, M.E.Lex (see 6-4-30) Frequent left bank Robinsons Rd bet R.R. v Ford Rk. Pr 232 65-30 ? Viola incognita, Brainerd & 874, BV 57 576 (in walk from Cartynville along track to Robinsons Rd & down left bank to Ford Rd almost surely along track). Diff in aspect from V. pallens 6-4-30 in that lvs are larger, lighter green, more nearly ob- culate, tend to open flat without lobes rolled forward. Petioles glanduleous pale green with no red dashes. Petioles undersided young lvs narsely but def. pubercent with white hairs at all angles to surface. Lateral petals lightly bearded with hairs longer than V. pallens 6-4-30. Otherwise fla. looks much the same. More flut inged with red dots. Pr 233 6-5-30 Viola labradorica, Debraun & 876, BV 8+ 561 Fl. Cartynville St. along R.R. track to Robinsons Br. via meadows left bank Robinsons Rd also fields near "Bill" Corlis house. Frequent. Pr 234 6-5-30 Elopeurus perlenais L. & 129, BVI 193 Fl. Field east of R.R. track just no. of Cartynville Station & Spahelits purpurea.
