Edge of fields left bank abor inlet, like A. from Sandy Downie 9-10-30. 553 Sent March 1931 9-14-30 "Tremors" i.e. thin lichen fungus from trunks, near school house Highlands Pond white wool dyed to rich brown (sample enclosed) by boiling with specimen & lbs. Local information says "moss" should be "well boiled" & strained out before wool is added to be boiled "a bit time." Addition of salt or vinegar suggested. Will not dye cotton deluxe.
