Far side McClennan's Pond. Likedese except that perigynia are more yellow than green. Culm not very stout (culmus 1.5-2 mm below infl. smooth but flattened rough bet the ♀ heads (mostly?)) 9-6-30 ? Carex rostrata Stokes vs utriculata Bailey & 256 found in c. - BvBi 434. Fe not clemus as mature. McClennan's Pond east side (turning to left end of path across marsh). Likedese except perigynia longer tapering to beaks, & spikes longer x culm slightly rough below infl. 549 9-6-30 "Potamogeton valesianus" R. Pkins & 172, BvBi 22, Fe McClennan's Pond so end. Cfd P. nodosus N.P. Similar but low about half as large, fewer nerved, less cindate at base to top. Fertile not similarly "flexuous". Submerged to capillary stiff.
