Fls 6 mm long axes Corda lobes rounded rather than "acute" [?]. Peduncles (a.& s.) 70/3 mm. but usually less than 10 mm, ascending sometimes curved &. V Outlines slightly touched with purple. Corda whitish. yellowish tinged with purple. 508 8-25-30 Betula nana L. BVB I 6/12 (D) Fl. v remains of fruits. In marsh with labor frequent alders marsh, less than ½ ft. high. Fruiting bracts have only 1 seed in axil. Stamens sessile, erect, 1 cm long or oblates. Fruit wider than the entire fruit. Young twigs densely pubescent.
