8-8-30 Eriophorum viridicarenatum Fernald #197, BYB#325-F2. Marsh east of Highland Camp. 8-8-30 Eriophorum virginianum L #197, BYB #26 F2. Same marsh as above but not frequent there. 8-8-30 Roofus. Very frequent & conspicuous in same marsh as above. Cyperaceae. Leaves glaucous blue or gray green, 4 mm wide at base, tapering to acuminate tips, stiffly erect, glabrous, smooth on edges at base but rough ened on edges midrib above, corduplicate. From base of plant underground runners with scales (not overlapping) 3/4 in long. Plant frequent in places too wet to collect. Roots have numerous sweet-potato shaped tubers 7 x1 mm on short stalks (these bear white frod running thru them but seem too def in shape to compact be anything but tubers. 8-8-30 ? Solidago uliginosa Nutt #99/BYB#4387 FL Road east of Highlands Camp in little marshy spot in woods off the usual marsh slightly further east. Achene not quite glabrous. St. 30cm high. Infl on branches 6 & 1/2 in either stiffly erect or
