24 October • SN 907: ♂ - t=14x7mm; very light far
no molt. took several photographs.
25 October • SN 941: ♂ - t=11x6mm; Heavy far.
molt just beginning- pin feathers just emerging
from skin. took photographs to contrast
w/ above.
• 892: ♀ - Heavy far. Overy short- but
remaining ova are > < 4 mm; ovipacer and
cloaca not greatly distended; no sign
b.p., Plumege bar & blood-saken.
• 891: ♀ - Heavy far; ova to 5mm, ovipacer
coming up; no b.p. Adventitious molt-
middle 8 redrices- ca. 30 mm long- just
erupting from sheathe; lateral 4 redrices
severely worn.
26 October • 864: t=14x8mm; moderate far. Fresh
tipula larva in upper esophagus.
• 950: ♀ - Heavy molt- brushes over ±
entire body. Heavy far; ova <1mm.
27 October • 956: ♀ - Heavy molt- well advanced-
same con tour feathers & functional,
ova to 1mm; heavy far.
