Part of the fat which came off with neck skin does not appear to be associated with the c.f.d. per se.

SN 930: advanced molt. fat v. heavy; t=5x2.5mm.
c.f.d. per se nearly gone, however fat from interjacular region has spread over skin and come away with neck skin. Cannot completely delineate c.f.d.
no SN 926: t=9x5mm; heavy fat. limits of c.f.d. again unclear- extra fat induced w/ skin.
no SN 981: Heavy molt - new feathers erupted from sheathes. took cervical skin separately, as above. lg. fol. 1mm; moderate fat.
