11 August no SN 953 : Heavy fat. Cut skin of neck circumferentially
around neck, then along dorsal length of neck
to level of leading edge of wing, then a
circumferentially, connecting leading edge of each
wing with anterior point of carina. Removed
skin with all noticeable fat from cervical
region. Careful to leave pectoral fat pads,
which are quite distinct: white, while
cervical fat is yellow. There is a dorsal
cervical deposit; took this with the cervical
region.

no SN 937 : there are 2 dorsal cervical fat deposits,
lying longitudinally along either side of the neck.
These remain within the carapace, and seem different
in texture from the cervical fat deposit. Left these
with the body, as did the deep interjuncular fat,
which is white like the pectoral fat pads.

testis 10x6 mm.
