Agrees with desc. except styles, oftenally 4, are usually 5 quite distinct or with one of the 4 divided part its length into 2 parts giving the appearance of 5. St. angled much less in S. graminea. Lvs. larger to 1¼ x 5/₁₆ in. & more uniform width throughout, less firm & zone, esp. upper ones, ciliolate. Petals none. Sepals narrowly white-edged on edges. I see 7-11-29 7-6-29 Veronica americana Schwein G 129 BvB III 200 Bul. Cross'd near turn at no. end. 7-6-29 Leonodon autumnalis L. G 863 = Apargia autumnale (aic) BvB III 316. Fl. Meadows, N.E. bank Barachois Rd. bet. Campsford. Involucere a smoky green, tips of bracts dark, somewhat webby with white hairs, otherwise glabrous ex- cept for straight darkish hairs on mid-ribs of some bracts. Lvs. like ill BvB.
