Bartramiana Roem BvBII 293 Fl.Sp.Blo R.R. northward.(Seen in profusion, bushes 3 ft. high from Trains Port aux Basques to Spice Birds 6-16-29) Flo in groups of 3 or less. Petals 10 x5-7mm. Ivs. sometimes acute but usually obtuse or rounded at base (as in ill.) Lizzie, waitread at Hotel calls it "Wild Plum". Inside calyx lobes wooly pubescent. Base of style and ovary very densely so. Very young lvs quite glabrous except for long wooly hairs on edges or few on mid-rib above. Petioles long wooly on upper side.The most mature lvs (at this time) have lost most of these hairs. Stipules long hairy. Also 6-20-29 Sp.Blo Trail. Stipules narrowly lincea, 6-8mm. long. 6-18-29 Viburnum parviflorum Raf. G.759; BvBIII270 Flo bud Sp.Blo R.R.northw. Petals tinged reddish on f. side. lvs still bronzy v pubescent or being beneath, Also 6-20-29 Sp Blo Trail. lvs glabrous except the hairy edges. I've remained of 1/4s.
