(By any other meas- urement, above the middle.) Corolla narrowed at top but with no definite neck. (This like all D. eximia B. B. 149 in this respect) Crests inner petals scarcely surpassing the spreading tips of the outer petals (not nearly as much as in all D. eximia [308]) 9-19-29 Vicia Faba L. B.M. J.C.P. Fl. Cult. at Hotel Tomplains, Same as seen in Bermuda earlier in 1929. Blotch on each lateral petal black rather than purple.
