#83 8-26-29 Menyanthes trifoliata L. G660, BvB III/18 No fls. Marshy spot behind point westside inlet to Highlands Pond. Like all except that fls are low- but definitely crenate. St. succulent, spongy in cross section with whitish center ( ). St. creeping on surface & mud v freely rooting in salt. Petioles to 10 in. long, sheathing v overlapping. Lfts. thickish, gray-green, glabrous. [9-5-29 Fls. (delapidated)] at inland end of Highlande Camp, westside road. Capsule thick. 8-26-29 Utricularia vulgaris L. var americana Gray G737 = U. macrophyza Le Conte BvB III/239 Fls. Highlands Pond. 8-26-29 Utricularia intermedia Hayne G737, BvB III/239 No fls but undoubtedly this because & bristle rooted by segments v bladders borne on separate branches cf'd with U. var. am. [Also 8-28-29 No fls at Far side of McClennan's Pond. But tho' bristle rootl on margins not as evident in many lvs. 8-26-29? Lysimachia terrestris BSP. G645, BvB IV/712 No fls at. Highlands Pond. Bulblets in axils
