8-1-29 [Pubescence glandular above. Small rosette at base with two bright yellow-green above red below (looks artificial); and also 8-31-29 F2. Rd from Highlands Camp to John Hall's. No gland on pubescence.
Note: Contraction I need to lay line neck very obscure in all plants examined.
8-1-29? Agrostis borealis Hartin. G/39, Bo B I 205
Fl. Culm to 19 in., very slender. Floret 3 mm., or nearly, excluding awn, exserted 1+ mm. Both glumes 2½-3 ptsd, the 1st slightly longer (about ½ mm.) v more gradually tapered. Both 1-nerved & hispid on back esp above, otherwise glabrous & shining, thin, purplish except for bright green stripe on back. Lemma thin, 2-mm down 3+ mm.
Palea ¼- mm, lemma bears tiny tuft of hairs (20x) at base at each side of palea? Fl blade 1½-2½ mm wide. Ligule 2-3 mm.

8-1-29? Mentha arvensis L. var. canadensis Brquet G 7II = M. canadensis L. Bo B III 152. Fl. "Bigger's Farm". Cfd with (B) M. arvensis Fl. 8-1-29 from 4 Rd.
(B) has short recurved hairs on angles of st. sides & st. glabrous.(A) has longer more spreading hairs mangles some on sides, effect to eye.
