Off with A. maritimus. Lvs light green, thinner more tender with non-apic- ulately tip [A. m - Neals] (which some of dark fls also of sea) 12 mm diam, with blade gray #mm long. Deliciously silky, acaulescent plant w this interior wounded as done [10-31-30]. Litter sparse, planilateral branches well developing. 3-30-32 Crocospermum picroides F. W. Schmidt Kutt 5/4 = A - DC. Calyx enlarges only slightly; bracts broader oblique at base; lowest fls often extra-axillary. Carefully off with E. calycinum Vir.
