Fl. Mt. Vinaigre. Normally fallen when studied. Lavendrat
sessile, 7mm x 2mm, acute. Petioles arise from knoth
protuberance or st. (dense tuft of hairs at protuber-
ance v. ot.) on each side). lf. 2 smaller similar how.
Difficult to decide whether (1) lf really 3-foliolate; or (2)
lf 1-foliolate with stipules; or (3) lf 1-foliolate without
stipules and pedicels bracted at very base. When
studied & weeks after collection impos. to tell if
these members existed only since pedicels had
been). Calyx as desc. Cote fr L. pilosa h. v. Cinerea
DC., the 2 upper teeth broad vs long as tube, the
lower lip only a trifle longer with 3 obtuse teeth.
Fl 1cm overall, standard hairy outside v. extended,
almost than the hairy keel. S ls, lob beneath, v.
calyx all silky. Stamens monadelphous; style
curved -> Standard horizontal.

exactly as ill. No lower articulate livas collected. lvs
very numerous, very narrow, ± 1½ in long. Infloresc
branched. Ripe capsules greenish-whiteish, 4mm diam.
Seeds 2mm at most. St. stiffly upright.
