Spines on lower lvs less prominent than on upper lvs with
white esp. definitely so in lvs of young plants. This
leads R.B.H. to think this is the "begonia" noted for
this very sport by Ivan Lake in "Majorca" by Henry
C. Shelley Chap XIII p 246 & mentioned elsewhere as
in The Balearics & their Peoples by Frederick Chamber-
lain p97.
