Anther cells attached part way at base but separate at top thus V. ? fl with 5 car joined, the outer with sharply out curved points in fr, the inner smaller unarmed convention to p sacchene. Styles 3 with frumpy stigmas. Achene 3 angled, not easily detachable from pericarp? ast matures. 3-18-32 Helianthemum laevipes Pers Kit II 204= Fumana — Speck Bas 51, Bon 36, Cote I 157 Bud Bellver westward from gate. Fine specimen to know elsez. Lower old sts 2-3mm long in fauces. Lvs or young (flowering) sts to 8mm long with fascicle of simple hairs in axils. Plant glaucous, glabrous except near tip, where white spreading hairs similar to those on edges of bracts over veins of sepals. Some of these hairs gland-tipped. Bracts ovate-lanceolate their broad bases contracting with the lines almost cylindrical lvs. Oracles 6. 3-18-32 (A) Helianthemum glutinosum Pers Kit II 205= Fumana viscida Speck Bas 51, Bon 36, Cote I 151 Early fl. Bellver north wall. No lvs pubescent so perhaps var. thymifolia or subs. Bas 51. Stiff much more def put than above with the hairs shorter and not in ciliate effect. Bracts narrow triangles not broad based as in above. Oracles 6. Lvs all opp.
