Scales subtend all disks fl out to edge (B) but are only as long as the fls (B says longer). Rays have style (BoH). Lvs have faint pleasant odor when crushed. Lvs (me jest.) 1/2-3/4 in long, finely cut, gray-green. It's decent stuff. This is 3rd plant seen 2-11-32 at luncheon place on 3-12-32? Medicago marina L. Kn II 90, Bar 117, Bo 94 Cort F 924 Fl Arneal (See ?? 11-22-30) This is evidently same plant as 11-22-30. Only item wrong in text is that the narrow wings are never longer than heel (Bart v Cort say longer) and sometimes (at least in seed ready stage) both are 1/2 mm shorter. Fls 7-8mm long.
