BoH 348, Cort# 345, A 846 Fl R Read & Can Pastilla.
Scales of [illegible] receptacle exactly as will Corts. Scales
subtend all disks fl out to edge (B) but are only as long
as the fls (B says longer). Rays have style (BoH). Lvs
have faint pleasant odor when crushed. Lvs (me jest.)
1/2-3/4 in long, finely cut, gray-green. It's decent stuff.
This is 3rd plant seen 2-11-32 at luncheon place on
3-12-32? Medicago marina L. Kn II 90, Bar 117, Bo 94
Cort F 924 Fl Arneal (See ?? 11-22-30) This is evidently
same plant as 11-22-30. Only item wrong in text is
that the narrow wings are never longer than heel
(Bart v Cort say longer) and sometimes (at least in seed
ready stage) both are 1/2 mm shorter. Fls 7-8mm long.
Standard 2-3mm longer than heel. Heads as will

to be polygamo-dioecus in that some bear fl with stamen
v pistils (pistils not fertil) others flow with pistil only.
Crolle & ? Fls 3 mm high, 9 others perhaps slightly glister.
