but the 1/2 in at below ground with black coverings
Lvs 7 (possibly had been more) to 7.5cm x 1.5-2.3mm,
dark green, shining, channeled above, curving down-
ward and somewhat curling. Scape 4.5cm (Bar says
quite a lot longer than lvs.) Pod 1 cm. high. Seeds globular about 1.5
mm., black, roughened with tiny thigae, apiculate
tips.

4-corners. Mat with branches 1-2 in long and as
remembered closely applied to ground (compare fn 4: his
suta, Bar & Cote). Hence and because there are some
opp. lvs perhaps H. litorea L. But hairs at tips of petals
not noticeably longer than others (See 3-17-30)
Stamens 2, petals none (as far as can see atx.)
