3-29-33 pubescent. Calyx x 5 lanceolate lobes (somewhat unequal) x of the pubescent inside. Corolla x 5-6 lobes with 5-6 alt. stamens. Corolla purple (with tube tightly) more or less rusty at tip; bud outside with gland-pubesce Stamens attached to tube. File- ments with conspicuous down-pointing hairs. Ovary superior, beaked inside part with upwar pointing hairs, Styles two slender, enlarged purple at top into green capitate stigmas (Effect is like a very slender cornucopia) whose edges are mordled. Ovary 1-celled with two paretal placenta, meeting in center of cell in such a way that it can easily be t mistaken for two celled. Ovules many. 823 3-20<sup>33</sup> Senecio Rodriguezii Willd. Kunth. Bar 242. F-l. F-l. Dr. Lord Alandia. 824 4-2-33 Romulea parviflora J. Britton (see 3-3-32) Fl. Mrs. Harris, Cascatale'. Pet. whitish with purple veins, 8 mm high. The upper (i.e. inner) spathe valve thin and venous. Evidently the same species as 3-20-33 #632 from Porto-Pi which New named R. Columnae Sibbaldius. *(neither fresh nodes does this show the regular parallel veins of the lower leaf valve in 824 nor of that leaf valve in 825)
