Differ from any seen before in that fr is often entirely without tubercles; sometimes with a few low, fluse tubercles on back. Fr various shapes from Bon's [90] sill & S. sulcata L. to more nearly like Boné ill & S. subvillo? Note that up to date P.B.K has never seen any S. whose fr. was spiny on the inside tho S. sub- villo is said to be most common in Mallorca] Seeds 4+mm long 'non atténuées aux deux bouts' Cote 6-29-32 Juncus glaucus Fls.
