Fl. Rock blue in stream bed & 1/4 reservoir

6-25-32 Tenerium Polium L. var majoricum
(see 5-29-32) Red. Rock. Blue Cliff along upper entrance
path. This is almost surely the "forme cesticum" with
Inaequalyx in II 317, var Calycinum Willk. BAE 376.
St. very white with short pub. branched hairs. Low
gray green with similar pub. Lvs elongated 25-30mm
overall, narrowly oblanceolate, the broadest 5mm
near tip. Edges entire or the slightest bit crenate at tip,
revolute but not all hiding the veiny underside
of lf. Calyx tube 4mm, teeth 1mm. Dust loose with
long hairs. Dust before flower has a purplish tinge
to it grayness. The one fl open is deep-purple.

6-25-32 Silene mollissima Pers (see 6-9-32) Fl. seen
above. Petals white, tinged slightly green beneath. Claws
not exserted (BAE v Costa say they are). Calyx 2cm long;
petals exserted about 1cm further. Stamens long exserted.
Plant very like ill Costa.
