Root not col so this may be P. bulboal. forma mollos.
cf with P. canariensis L. (5-18-32) Spaff. cylindric about 50 x 1/2 mm. Spikelet 5-6 mm, glume 1/8mm wide
Glumes white (less bright than in P. C-) v very green
(yellowish green when cf'd with the dark green of P.C-)
Venus 3 as in P.C - one down back v on one each
side (Bar says 1-nerved). Wings narrow 1/2 mm, extend-
ing from about 1/3 distance above base almost to apex but almost entire (more like ill P. mollos Cote's
table)
Leaves brown pub. Only 1 scale found, that
also brown, pub. and 1/2 length of glume.
