it much longer than fl; even uppermost
bracts longer than ray.

as O. apifera and accepted as such without study later on
seeing an undoubted O. apifera she thinks this probably
was O. astelinus

Glabrous very smooth to touch, too sometimes
when lightly brushed has a rank olory-
gesting red -- but sometimes not v seen
odorless when crushed. 6 ft to 7 ft very fluffy.

2 volt, sessile, cut to very base into (usually) 3
main divisions, these sometimes again cut

divest to base and always deeply cut into 4
narrow linear lobes, the lobes of the radio hem
2-3 mm wide, the general effect much like that
of Cetratocephalus (Cate I 32). Lowermost 5 cm from
base to tips spreading fanlike. Tips of lobes acute v
begin to dry early. Prof. stipules; but younger lvs
bear short, and -slipod which would be considered
stipules except that they are found set the primary
(palmate) div. lvs as well as where stipules should
be. The solitary pts termin in very short (1 cm)
branches are surrounded by involucres(?) 10-15
mm multiple frome aspect as lvs but simpler
in construction. Segments of involucre(?)
so welded with tips of peduncle that they do not
separate off like bracts. Uvary superior.
