general aspect nerve lila A. trineris L. as tenera 1931 in Switzerland. Lvs 3-nerved. (Barr says 5) not ciliate except at base of petiole Sepals beautifully wilton margined, often with 2 or 3 nerves. Few minute petale (17mm) sometimes present. Seels base appendage lila A. trineris. 5-9-32 / Geaifura laevigata L. Kut II 4/6, Bar 225, Bon 143, Cote II 205 Red Luck not certain whether be- yond or near to Cairnsi. Plant rising from horizontal running root stock (Cote says not). At dividing into several branches near base. Stg glabrous, somewhat twisted, sharply angled, the angles being slightly lighter color. Lvs in 4's, oval, to 13 x 6mm, rounded at apx, narrowed to very short petiole, glabrous except for dent hair on edges which make them look rough (20X) but not rough to touch. Lvs 3-nerved but lateral nervs difficult to see except on young lvs. All lvs have a tiny lighter colored spot at very tip on upper surface (esp visible in jungles) & some of younger lvs softly mucronate. Dinflexilary (now very young ones glabrous. Plant very like ill (Cote) and seems the only Rubiaceae in Bar with 3 loboties. 5-9-32 Tecuenum lanceifolium Boreas Kut II 320, Bon 372 All infl. Newid beyond Luck Lvs fragrant when crushed.
