upper lvs (much shorter than internodes) 10mm x 1/2 mm (or less) edges when studied being zone- what revolute. Infl as ill (Cote) with a tract at base of joint from which lowest pedicels arise (not this tract in infl tho ill almost thin) revolute is longer (often more than twice along) as infl, Cordilla 1/2 mm less high, reddish (see B more red than H. 74-17-32, I do see & bud like. Clary 1/2 mm high, thickly corded with white hairs (charlie j at all good) which makes ovey white even to eye [?] specimen ed person newid led tho only 5 mm long but otherwise the same. 5-9-32? Haeleyogermanica L Kurt 337, Bar 867, Bon 253, BvH 368, Cote III/120. Red. R'd (new) from Arch. Blau toward . I do not know species. without open flower. Anther cells end to end as in D. thaly. Woolyendio stary. / Phlomis italica L Kit 334 = P. L with Bar 368 see 6/18-32. ? 665 5-9-32 Torilis leptophylla Rchb. Kit II 227 = Caucalis leptophylla L. Bar 104, Bon 124, Cote II/168. / ? vinnipes fr. Roadside Nwrs rd beyond thuch. Fr armed, compressed laterally and channelled inside (as seen by cros- section) lvs 2-3 pinnate. Therefore acc to Cote II/145-6 must be Caucalis & Torilis. Fr now 5-6mm (Cote says T only 2-3mm). Also the peduncled umbels, leaves stigmae? lvs with no long terminal seg. seems to rule out all poss T. (Cote 163-4/7). St. glabrata to eye but def rough to touch with slant down-
