# 556 10-15-30 Ononis spinosissima L Kn# 69, Baz 111; Bon 73. Fl, Bellevue Path inside wall nearest to Kenora (See 2-25-30). Shrubby with slender decumbent simple branches. Plant 1/8 in long. Fls solitary, small yellow no articulation. Peduncle axile. st., ls. linear & calyx minutely glandular. This might suggest O. stricta DC but corolla not aliter than calyx, peduncle not aristate, frt languing (Bon) v fr not much longer than calyx (Bon). Standard 6-7 mm, as long or longer than calyx & quick longer than keel & small wings. Fr 4 mm highly brown rather than "negruzca", sessile, erect, pubescent but not densely so. (N.B. frstball perhaps all fr seen was aborted, some frt certainly so). (See 10-26-30 10-15-30 Agriimonia Eupatoria L Kn# 53 Baz 164 Bon 103, BVH 147 Fl in young fr. Bellevue same region as above. lvs softly pubescent both sides not glandular. st. softly pub abt, more barely pub below, with spread- ing hairs. Crushed lvs with slightly eleinosa odor. Calyx tube pub. with longish white hairs & minutely glandular. Inft faintly odorous 10-15-30 Polygala infestris Pours Kn# 141, Baz 86 Bon 70 Fl. Bellevue. Racemes 1-flt. Wings indented white.
