Cort. III 193. Prob this specimen is A. sileratus (A. viridis) described as perhaps = the A. viridis L of Bon but not the A. viridis L of H 372. (See 13-10-30) 10-23-36 Amaranthus albus L. Ku II F 446. Bar 392, Bon 265. Frz. On trip Puerto Pollenza to S. Vicente. Erect with many slender much branched branches. Normally very small, 3/8 in, but some to 2 in (in particular). Fls very small in axillary glomerules. Prob the 1-3 sharp pointed members longer than 4ix are bracts v the shorter inner-spicuous members (prob never as many 5) are sepals. Worddeah huge to infl. Seeds 1+ mm. = A.gracizans L. H 372 10-23-36 Prunus spinosa Ku II 55 fine P.— 4 var. Balearica with Bar 156). Bon 95, BVH 134 BM of C.P. 365 (See 5--30) Frz. Rd to S. Vicente Fr glaucous blue-black, 1/2 mundiam. 10-23-36 M espilus germanica L. Bar 166, Bon 102, BVH 157 BM of C.P. 376 Frz. Rd to S. Vicente. Not on tree. Fr on tree but spec picked off ground (seen several times bet. & Felanitx v Pollenza 10-22-30) Top less widely open than ill BVH v no bracts or fr collected (there may not be as mature as these trees) Fr brown v speckled, not covered with hairs (Bon-)
