Largest lf 6 in x 1/2 mm at base, taper- ing gradually to point. Lvs flatter obliquely keeled, very glaucous, roughened with white hairs,- ciliate edge on edges? midrib beneath. Ligule firm, white, entire, making neat V effect in front. Bulbs 1/4 in high with many shredded dark coverings inside which is a firm brownish tonic (x25) empty. This tonic is flat as the bulb when developed may be 3. Inside the shredded covering are several flat faced bulbs, now loose but for force attached by their pointed base. Consider possg?
